update
Nov. 18th, 2008 | 02:03 pm
If all goes good I go in for my C-section on Nov. 24th at 4pm. It sucks because I can't eat after midnight and I have to spend hours in Tacoma waiting around and doing doctor visits and stuff.
yuck!
So I'm really hoping all goes good and Sean comes on the 24th. more updates will come as I get closer.

mood:
ecstatic
music: Phantom over and over again =)
Ok so I've been teased and torchered for weeks. Agua told me I was not aloud to make any plans on the 21 of Sep. because I was going to be kidnapped. So for weeks I got nonsense clues and picked on. Mom chipped in on the picking on me about 4 days beforehand with "I know were your going" and "I know what your doing". What a pain.
So I was woke up early and told to get dressed in something nice yet comfy. I was given an envelope that I couldn't open till later and put in the car. We drove up to the former Sea-tac mall. We hit the arcade (when it opened) and played for a while. Then we got back in the car and drove to the convention center in Seattle. I opened the envelope and found two tickets to Phantom at 1pm. I was so exited. Then he gave me a plain wrapped item. When I opened it it was a beautyful music box that says on the top Phantom of the Opera. When I opened it it plays "music of the night" and has the mask and a rose spining. on the inside of the lid is the mask, a rose, and music pages. It's so lovely and sweet.
So on our way threw the center I notice it says the sakura meeting was that day... opps. Well there wasn't anyone there yet so we went on down. We walked over to the theater. Agua got me a keychain from the booth and the program book. We got to our seats and I showed him all the pictures. We talked a bit before the music started. I was so thrilled. Sean loved the music. Well he loved the phantom's music... the high stuff like Carlotta singing he didn't like. For the first half Agua held me close. The second half he went between rubbing Sean and feeling him react to the music and holding my hand.
After we talked about it all while he drove us to dinner at Marie Calander's. I got my long wanted Frisco burger and pumkin pie. yum yum!!!!
We stopped at Walmart to get kitten food, didn't have any. But we did get mom a new electric blanket and alarm clock. Both she needed badly.
When we got home Alex was so exited to see us. He hugged us and told us all about everything. We cuddled and talked and he showed off what he was doing. He was so exited that he even loved on Sean.
I was so spoiled all weekend but Sunday was the best. I was spoiled and spoiled some more. After not having any Agua time for weeks, he's been working so much and so much over time. I knew he felt bad for having to work so much... but never thought he would do something like this. I felt guilty for how mad I was that he was working so much. I didn't know how bad he felt too... Now I do.
We ended with a soak in the hot tub and feeding Alex dinner. Alex was tucked in to bed and we too went to bed. What a wonderful day and night. It's been so long since... well yeah... a long time.

cute cup
Sep. 23rd, 2008 | 11:56 am
I found this cute cup yesterday. It has three little boys playing around on a table. The one in the middle is looking between his legs. I'm not sure what it says but I did google the name on it and figured out it's a cup from Amanohashidate. And the one looking between his legs is looking (from what I understand) the recommended way at "heavens bridge".

toys and updates

Well my husband is sweet. He got me a DS last week. It's not a DS lite but a DS. He got it cheep on Ebay (broken) and fixed it. It's so much fun too. He set up my charger next to the bed even.
On the 4th it was decided that my wagon is basically dead. They say the barrings are going out and the engine has to be replaced. So we've spent weeks looking at cars and things. Well on Sunday we solved it. We went up to Olympia to test drive a few and maybe have a better idea of what we want. It went further and Agua bought me a car. Here's a stock image.

I love it! It's so nice too. It can hold 7 people and still have room to haul stuff. It's so sleek and comfy. Alex loves that he can see out the huge windows all over the place.

stress, stress, and arggg
Jul. 12th, 2008 | 01:36 pm
mood:
aggravated
At this point I don't know if I'm going to have a baby shower. There is so much going on and so much stress and drama. By the time it calms down the baby will be here and then it'll be a whole different stress and drama. On a good note my baby reg. at "babies r us" is up on the web site. After the ultrasound we went over and set it up. All the things we need, want, and would really like. The big thing is the big things. The stroller for one is a must. We picked it because it can be used much longer then the regular tandem stroller.
ON the bad side... Alex is fully come in to the terrible twos. Right down to the screaming, tantrums, and running off. *sighs and rolls eyes* It's a nightmare... but even at his worst he's so much better then most you see.
I'm not going to even go in to all the work stress and drama for Agua and Mom. It's all so nuts.
We're still down to one car... well no Agua says his Truck is drivable now. So I guess that makes it two. Not that I'll touch it or go near it. So I have to make do with the Raspberry(Agua's pinkish purple car)It can only hold 4 and has no real room to carry anything but at least it runs and has A/C.
The baby and Alex seem to love to gang up on me and misbehave at the same times. It makes it rather hard to go running off after Alex when your insides are being used like soccer balls. And the heat is no help. Today I helped mom set up and the walk in the woods was nice but to warm and the hills... oh that hurt.
Oh and the stupid people. This weekend is the STP (Seattle to Portland bike race)The roads are full of bikes who don't look, pass each other in a 50mph making cars swerve and step on the brakes to avoid, oh yes and just swerve all over the place making cars stress and freak out. Today I saw all this and more. Top of my list... A cop car running lights and siren. A bike pulled out right in front of him. He was doing around 65mph at the time, he hit the brakes and swerved right at me. The bikers didn't even give the cop a second look. I mean how stupid can you be. Car after car going all over the road trying to give them space and yet they ride two or three wide and give no thought to the fact that they are on the highway and they'll get run over. I have no problem with bikers of any kind... if they use some brains. I mean rules of the road, common sense, and even common courtesy... even tho I know there is no such thing as common sense or common courtesy. It's just to stupid and aggravating. At least it's only once a year. *sighs*

ultrasound update
Jul. 4th, 2008 | 12:18 am

amused
Well we got our second ultrasound on the second. I love the teck, she's so cute and sweet. She always makes it great. Doctor after was ok I guess... he did the normal recap what the teck just said and update on all the tests they did. So... Everything looks good. The baby is doing great. Oh and yes we did get the baby sexed. It's a.... should I hold out a bit longer? No? oh ok... It's a Boy. Yes we're having another boy. Alex is a big brother of a little brother.
We're working on the baby needs and want list as well as the baby shower aka baby party for Oct. 4th. After the doctor and the ultrasound we went over to the mall (10 min. away from offices) and got snacks. Then we went over to Babies R Us to set up our registry. We had fun talking, looking, and using those fun scanner guns.
Some have asked if we're sad that it's not a girl. Well maybe a little but mostly very happy that all is good and that he's very active. Not normal that a 4month along can kick so hard that it can move a sleeping cat 2 inches. lol

My way of saying good bye....
George Carlin died at the age of 71. The voice in many children's shows and films as well as a famous actor and comedian. He'll be remembered for so many things like Fillmore from "Cars", the Hitchhiker from "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", Cardinal Ignatius Glick from "Dogma", Rufus from "Bill and Ted's" films. As well as so many of his comedy routines.
Stan Winston died at the age of 62. Famous for make up and special effects. It's far easier to just post a link to IMDB for his huge list of wonderful films.
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0935644/
Mel Ferrer died at the age of 90. Actor, director, producer most famous for being Audrey Hepburn's ex husband.
Bo Diddley died at the age of 79. A famous composer and writer. Famous in our house for his roll as Axman in "Rockula".
Harvey Korman died at the age of 81. Famous actor, director, producer, and comedian. Most famous for "The Carol Burnett Show", "Blazing Saddles", and "High Anxiety". I just have to say one thing... "That's HEADLEY!"
Sydney Pollack died at the age of 73. Famous director, producer, actor. Most famous for his roll as George Fields (agent) in "Tootsie".
Charlton Heston died at the age of 84. Famous actor, known for his roll in "Ben-Hur", "Planet of the Apes", and "The Ten Commandments". My favorite tho is "The Greatest Show on Earth".
Roy Scheider died in the hospital, Sunday, Feb. 10, 2008. Most famous for his roll in "Jaws" as well as "SeaQuest".

I'm looking for baby name ideas. Originally we picked first and middle names Carlee Mia for a girl and Daniel Harvey for a boy. I'd like some name ideas so we have some options. We don't know if it's a boy or a girl yet so both are welcome.
As incentive if we go with a name you pick I'll send you a prize.

Big news!!!

optimistic
OH you won't believe it. Alex went potty on the toilet yesterday all day. He didn't even have an accident till 5:30pm. Thats so fantastic! After the first time going in the toilet we put his diaper back on him... he lost it. So when he went again I was brave and put him in big boy underwear. He was so exited and proud. After hours and hours with no problem he took a nap... that was the downfall. After he woke up he stopped listening to his body and had an accident. It was only a little puddle by Grandma's door.
Still he did so fantastic for his first time. Before this he's had no interest. He infect screamed bloody murder if he got close to a toilet or potty chair. He still won't use the potty chair but does use the toilet.
Yay Alex!
Who knows I might still get my wish and have him potty trained before the baby comes.

Good bye Tigera

sad
Last night was really hard. It's not surprising but it was still really hard.
Tigera my cat that I got 22 years ago on my 6th birthday past away last night just before Midnight. She left the way she came in to our family, in my arms.
Yes she was old and lived a very long life. Over 22 years with one family. When she was a kitten she loved to fallow our other cat Elizabeth (died many years ago) around and pounce on her tail. For many years she loved to curl up with my brother on his couch. After he moved out she became very attached to my Dad till he to passed away a few years ago. She was so heart broken that she cried till she lost her voice.
She was a great catcher. She caught moles, birds, mice, birds,.... just about anything really. She loved to leave them by the door as gifts. When Mom had a bat problem Tigera even caught one of those.
Such a long life full of memories. Starting with the first one. Going down to Safeway to get candles for my birthday cake before all the guests for my party got there. There was a little box with two kittens in it. When I asked they told me the white one was already taken. They went in to the store to get food and things for it. I looked at this little orange face looking at me and trying so hard to climb out. I asked mom please. I told her it's all alone Mom and will be so lonely now that her brothers and sisters are gone. Mom agreed and I brought the little 3 week old kitten home.
I'll never forget that little orange face nor all the other memories from the last 22 years. She was a good cat and was well loved by all.

Drama and trama
Jun. 13th, 2008 | 10:40 am
mood:
exhausted
Ok so yesterday we were enjoying the sun and playing outside at my friends house. I was sitting in a lawn chair in the shade of the porch when Alex climbed up and cuddled me. He then gave me a kiss and asked for juice. I remembered that he took it in the house so I told him ok I'll go get it. I set him down and told him to go play while I get it. I walk up the stairs and in to the house. I found his juice and came back out. As I did I heard him crying but I couldn't see him. It sounded like the I'm unhappy cry not a hurt cry so I wasn't to worried. As I came back down the stairs I saw him kneeling on the tipped over chair crying. I picked him up and cuddled him as I rubbed his head I found the lump on the back of his head. Then it hit me what happened. I looked at the mark on his head a strong line of red just above the brain stem. Only part of it was swelling. I got a bag of frozen vegys to put on his head. I sat down with him and put it on the back of his head. Still crying softly he started to fall asleep. I started to stress. I stood him up next to me and kept the bag on his head while my friend went on the search for baby tylenol. He still kept falling asleep standing there. We checked his eyes and one was a bit slower then the other. I didn't have his doctor's number in my phone so I called Agua. I got the number and called in. They said to bring him in right away. So I called Agua back and told him to be ready to be pickled up in 15 min. I knew I needed help keeping Alex awake. Since it was on the way I figured picking him up would be best. I don't remember most of the drive. I just remember trying to keep him awake till we got Agua. After I remember Agua doing so great keeping Alex awake and even happy.
It takes ruffly an hour and 20 min to get to his doctor from Eatonville. We got there in less then an hour. They got us in fast and checked him out. It was a very mild concussion his eyes were back to normal. The doctor said to not let him sleep more then an hour at a time and wake him up and see how he's doing for 12 hours. If he's doing fine then he can sleep normally. The doctor did find he had an ear infection again. So he gave us a prescription for that.
So the rest of they day was spent watching a cranky little boy. Other then being exhausted he's doing fine. He's got a big bump and red mark still on the back of his head. He's a bit cranky and cuddly but doing good. Still watching him closely. He's still really tired but that's been true for a few days because of the cold bug going around.
OK looking up.... that's a long rant about how I messed up and my little guy got hurt and scared the crap out of me. *shrugs*

3 years today
Jun. 4th, 2008 | 11:02 am

anxious
music: unforgetable
Today marks the third year Agua and I have been together. I left his gift on the bookshelf and told him he couldn't open it till today... to tease him all day yesterday. At midnight I let him open it.
Three years... were does the time go. At times it makes me sad. When I gained Agua I lost a lot of others and my life total changed. Life is a forever changing living thing that we must work threw. I wish things didn't have to change, but I know it does. At times I wish so much that I could turn back the clock, but the clock keeps ticking away.
I love that man so much. Last night I had to go get Mom from work. When I got home he'd put Alex to bed, made me hot coco, and rubbed my back. Just out of the blue he does the sweetest things and can be so wonderful. Today he has something planned for our anniversary. I have no clue what but he's exited so I'm wondering.
Three years.... were does the time go. It's hard to believe that it was three years ago I was weed eating my garden as I was shocked by an Agua pulling up my driveway. Spending the whole day talking and teasing each other. We've been inseparable ever since.
happy anniversary to us

package in the mail

Yesterday I got a call saying Agua had picked up a package in the mail for me. He asked what I ordered. I said nothing that would be coming in the mail(fedex was supposed to drop off mom's new phone). Then I remembered PB had sent me a late birthday gift... and said it out load. Agua got jealous sounding. He got worse when I got home and opened my gift. I was so exited and thrilled to get the music from Phantom of the Opera. Agua is so cute when he gets jealous. And the gift from PB was so sweet.
Thanks PB, I'm listening to it all the time.

it's one of those days...

mood:
aggravated
If my day gets any worse.... crap I can't even threaten to drive off and disappear. Today sucks hard core. I mean stick a fork in me cause I'm done.
I won't go in to details because it's just bill and money crap but to top it off I stopped at the PO and the car wouldn't start again so Alex and I had to walk home. It's only two blocks no big deal... but it was a topper for sure. I'm just hopping nothing more happens today. I can't take it. I just want to crawl in to my bed and cry.
So more on top Agua left work to come get the car home at least and is now picking mom up from work. At least he's not paid hourly... and I know his co-worker understands.

Ok it's 5 days till my birthday. I don't know why I'm counting down. It's not like I have anything to look forward to. Well other then Mom's home made stew. yum yum!
I'm bummed... I know I don't get anything. No party, no gifts, not even going out to a movie or anything. On top of it Mom works a 12 hour day that day so I get my stew dinner the day before. I mean how sucky can it get.
Aren't birthdays supposed to be all about the birthday person? This bites!
I'm really starting to hate birthdays. =.(
:((
*news*
Today was the staff lunchen for Sakura con. When I got there I got a nice surprise. Two of my co-workers and friends got me balloons and made me cupcakes. It was so nice and they were so cute.

whats up
Apr. 22nd, 2008 | 01:45 pm
Well Saturday we went to Woodland park zoo in Seattle with my sister in law and her kids. Even in a little rain and some snow we had fun. I took lots of pictures too. Alex had so much fun running around with some of his cousins. Even tho it was cold and a bit wet at first it was a lot of fun. The twins were so cute taking turns pushing Alex when he had to sit in the stroller. You know for snacks and stuff. But when he was loose they walked with him and even tried to hold his hands. I could have done with out the squishy tummy... I hate morning sickness.
We've been talking a bit about how we're going to do bedrooms this summer. Also we have to take down the front porch. The bad storms this winter have really recked it. Not sure how we're going to do it yet. I think to start is taking pry bars and pulling the roofing off.
Some time in early May we're going to the aquarium in Seattle. My sister in law gave us passes.
End of May we're supposed to be going down to Oregon for my friend's wedding. KC says she can't no money. *shrugs* If nothing else we'll go down for the day.
Alex is getting so big. He and his puppy are always playing and running around. Both Alex and his puppy have trouble with potty training.

Big news

cold
Ok I wasn't planning on sending this news out till next week after I see the Doctor but so many people have guessed that I figure I better go ahead and post it.
It looks like Alex is getting a sibling. Agua and I are going to have another baby. I took a home test and it came up a hard positive. I'm only a few weeks along. The online calenders say I'm 6weeks along and Due in mid Nov. I'm not sure about that tho.
I'm going to the Doctor on the 16th so more news will be then.
